INSTRUCTION:

This is a two step process, you will be plugging and unplugging the MWMods module twice. Please read all directions before beginning.

Prepare the Car: The car must be put into programming mode first. Make sure the car is warm and everything is stable. Turn off accessories and unplug any SD or USB devices. Don’t change any settings or press any buttons while programming.
The car must be in IGNITION position 2 (all cluster leds are ON but the motor is OFF)
Go to Youtube and watch this video first – this is the video showing “IGNITION POSITION 2”.
Be Patient in this process, wait a minimum of 60 seconds until the audio head has totally booted up. THIS WILL TAKE AT LEAST A FULL MINUTE.

You are ready.
Now, plug the module to the OBD2 diagnostic socket under the dash. The COMAND screen will blank and you will see some small white lettering….
There are two programs.
“Factory settings” – if you were to run it – it will revert to the factory settings.
Turning the controller will bring you to….
“ECO start-stop last mode ON” – this one will activate ECO start-stop memory at your car.

Begin Installation: Using the controller, rotate or use << >> buttons to select the second script:
“ECO start-stop off” and confirm pressing the controller down or * star button.
This will begin the program…watch the progress bar until you see: “remove the module now” This takes about 30 seconds or so. Be Patient, don’t remove module until you see that message on screen. When you do, and only when you do, remove the module.
Never remove the Module unless the Comand screen tells you to.

You may get an error message in the service screen, for example “Mercedes Connect inoperable” or “Lights are Defective, consult workshop”. You may note the clock has reset to 12:00.
Don’t panic !
Turn the car off, wait a minute, turn it back on, the messages will clear.
