Mercedes-AMG’s equipped with factory exhaust, gain the ability to OPEN and CLOSE your Exhaust Flaps using our MWM module.
The OEM Factory Valve settings DO NOT allow the flaps to fully OPEN if Sport+ and Race modes are not Enabled.
Our MWM module gives you the opportunity to open the flaps in all Dynamic Select modes, such as Comfort or Individual, and get the exhaust system sound like in Sport+ or Race modes.
In addition, the module allows you to select any of other Dynamic Select modes by default after the Next Engine Start.
If you select the other Dynamic Select modes by default, the Exhaust Flaps will be OPEN and you will get a louder more aggressive sound to your exhaust.
If you return Comfort mode to the default, the Exhaust Flaps settings will be returned to the Factory settings.

Does the module have to be plugged into the OBD all the time?

No, plug in the module to activate or deactivate Exhaust Flap Selection mod.

Why do you need to disable an activated Mod?

Use the module the same way again to disable the changes. You need to do this before you visit the dealer so he won't know about the changes.

Can I order multiple activations for one module?

Yes, specify the manager how many activations are needed.

INSTRUCTION:

To READ

This is a two step process, you will be plugging and unplugging the tuneOBD module twice. Please read all directions before beginning.
Prepare the Car: The car must be put into programming mode first. Make sure the car is warm and everything is stable. Turn off accessories and unplug any SD or USB devices. Don’t change any settings or press any buttons while programming.
The car must be in IGNITION position 2 (all cluster leds are ON but the motor is OFF)
Go to Youtube and watch this video first – this is the video showing “IGNITION POSITION 2”.

You are ready.
Now, plug the module to the OBD2 diagnostic socket under the dash.
When the program is finished, you will see no longer flashing green light on the side of the module, then remove the module from OBD port
Never remove the Module unless the the green light stop flashing.
