Returns & Refunds Policy

At MWMods, we develop and supply advanced electronic modules for Mercedes-Benz vehicles. Many of our products are configured, programmed or prepared for a specific vehicle, software function or customer order. For this reason, we do not accept returns for change of mind, incorrect orders, compatibility mistakes, or products that have already been used, connected, activated or installed, except where required by applicable law.

This policy applies to orders shipped to the European Union, the United States, Australia and other supported regions.

Returns for Defective Products

Returns are accepted only if the product has a confirmed manufacturing defect or arrives faulty. If the issue is caused by a defect in the product, MWMods will cover the return shipping cost and provide an appropriate solution after inspection.

Depending on the case, the solution may include repair, replacement, reprogramming, store credit or refund. The final solution will be determined after our technical team reviews the product and confirms the issue.

Non-Returnable Cases

We do not accept returns or refunds in the following cases, unless required by applicable law:

  • the customer ordered the wrong product or module;
  • the product is not compatible because incorrect vehicle information or VIN was provided;
  • the product has been used, installed, connected, activated or modified;
  • the product was damaged due to incorrect installation, misuse or third-party intervention;
  • the customer changed their mind after purchase;
  • the product was custom-programmed, personalized or prepared for a specific vehicle.

Before placing an order, we strongly recommend checking product compatibility with your Mercedes-Benz model and VIN. If you are not sure which module is suitable for your vehicle, please contact us before purchase.

How to Report a Defective Product

If you believe that your product is defective, please contact MWMods support via email info@mwmods.com as soon as possible after receiving the order.

To help us review your case faster, please provide:

  • your order number;
  • your full name and contact details;
  • vehicle model, year and VIN;
  • photos or videos showing the issue;
  • a clear description of the problem;
  • any error messages or diagnostic information, if available.

Our team will review the information and may ask for additional details before approving a return.

Return Shipping

If the product is confirmed to be defective, MWMods will cover the return shipping cost. We will provide return instructions after your return request has been reviewed and approved.

Please do not send any product back without prior approval from MWMods. Unauthorized returns may not be accepted.

Inspection and Refunds

Once the returned product is received, our technical team will inspect it. If a defect is confirmed, we will offer the most suitable solution depending on the situation: repair, replacement, reprogramming, store credit or refund.

If the product is found to be working correctly, or if the issue was caused by incorrect installation, misuse, wrong vehicle data, customer error or external damage, the return may be refused and the product may be sent back to the customer.

Statutory Consumer Rights

Nothing in this Returns & Refunds Policy limits or excludes any rights that cannot be excluded under applicable consumer protection laws.

For customers in the European Union, the United States and Australia, any mandatory rights provided by local consumer laws remain fully protected. Where such laws require a repair, replacement, refund or other remedy, MWMods will handle the case in accordance with the applicable legal requirements.
