A MWM module makes it possible to control the AIRMATIC suspension height via the MBUX instrument cluster: speed controls the front axle, RPM controls the rear. Adjustments in 10 mm steps, maximum lowering is −60 mm .

Accelerator pedal adjusts the front; brake pedal adjusts the rear. Conversion: 10 km/h = −10 mm (1,000 RPM = −10 mm). Example: 20 km/h / 2,000 RPM = −20 mm front / −20 mm rear.

Airmatic suspension will adjust to the new height in 30 seconds. The factory setting will always be stored on the module. Once the settings are loaded, simply unplug the module and store for future use.

The module is easy to use. You need to insert the module into the OBD2 diagnostic port and select the desired height. Additionally, you don’t need to install or configure anything.

You can lower the suspension up to 40mm and it’s safe for the ride and the suspension. If lower, it’s only for photos or short rides. We also recommend doing wheel alignment after lowering, if you ride below 35mm the tires will wear out faster without alignment.

There is no need to keep the module plugged in all the time. You need to plug it in when you want to change the height or return to the factory height. Afterwards, disconnect the module.

The suspension will work as usual, but additionally lowered by the module. For example, as before, the suspension will become lower if you switch from Comfort to Sport+ mode (-15mm). If you lower the car by -30mm with the module, total lowering will be -45mm from factory Comfort mode. The same way "raise" button works.

Warning Before installation, set the instrument cluster to Classic mode so speed and RPM are shown on separate gauges.

Preparation

Turn the ignition on and wait about 15 seconds for systems to initialize.
Plug the module into the OBD2 port.

How it works

The speed readout on the cluster controls the front axle.
The RPM readout on the cluster controls the rear axle.
Accelerator pedal = front axle adjustment; brake pedal = rear axle adjustment.
Conversion: 10 km/h = −10 mm, 20 km/h = −20 mm, 30 km/h = −30 mm.
Likewise, 1,000 RPM = −10 mm, 2,000 RPM = −20 mm, etc.
Maximum lowering: −60 mm. Adjustment step: 10 mm.

Setting the height

Set the desired speed (front) and/or RPM (rear) on the cluster. Default: 20 km/h / 2,000 RPM = front −20 mm / rear −20 mm.
To save the setting, press and hold both pedals (accelerator + brake) until the central screen flashes blue — this confirms the setting is saved.
Start the engine, close all doors, and observe the vehicle lowering.

Returning to factory height

Method 1: Insert the module, hold the brake pedal until the central screen flashes green — the vehicle will return to factory height.
Method 2: Set the cluster to 0 km/h and 0 (thousands) RPM, hold both pedals until a blue flash — zero lowering saved.

Notes & recommendations

Do not leave the module connected longer than necessary — unplug after use.
Make adjustments gradually and check ground clearance and possible contact after each change.
After significant lowering (especially below −40 mm), have a wheel alignment performed to prevent accelerated tire wear.
