Dynamic Select Last Mode Module by MWMods is a software-based convenience upgrade for compatible Mercedes-Benz and Mercedes-AMG vehicles equipped with DYNAMIC SELECT. In the factory configuration of supported vehicles, the selected driving mode may return to Comfort after the vehicle is restarted, requiring the driver to select a preferred mode again before driving. The MWMods module changes this behavior by enabling DYNAMIC SELECT memory, allowing the vehicle to remember the last active driving mode and restore it on the next start. For drivers who regularly use Sport, Sport+, Individual, or another available program, this removes the need to repeat the same mode selection every time the vehicle is started.
The MWMods Dynamic Select Module is designed specifically to retain the driver’s previous DYNAMIC SELECT choice between journeys. Once the memory function has been activated, switching the vehicle off no longer means manually selecting the preferred drive program again after the next start. Instead, the supported vehicle can recall the DYNAMIC SELECT mode that was active before the ignition was switched off.
This modification does not replace the Mercedes DYNAMIC SELECT system or create additional driving programs. It changes how the existing factory system handles the selected mode after a restart. Depending on the Mercedes model and equipment configuration, DYNAMIC SELECT programs can influence characteristics such as engine and transmission response, steering, suspension, and other vehicle systems. Available modes also vary by model, which makes last-mode memory particularly useful for owners who consistently prefer a specific factory driving setup. Compatibility with the individual vehicle should be confirmed by VIN before ordering.
Dynamic Select memory is activated using the MWMods hand-held module through the vehicle’s OBD2 diagnostic port. No permanent control unit needs to remain connected after programming, and the module is only required when activating or deactivating the modification. This provides a software-based solution without replacing the DYNAMIC SELECT controls or making physical modifications to the vehicle.
The MWMods module also includes a Factory Settings option, allowing the supported vehicle configuration to be returned to its original state when required. After activation, the driver continues to use the factory Mercedes DYNAMIC SELECT controls normally; the difference is that the system can retain the previously selected mode for the next drive. Because DYNAMIC SELECT configurations differ across Mercedes-Benz and Mercedes-AMG models, chassis generations, production years, and equipment packages, VIN verification is recommended to confirm that the Dynamic Select Last Mode Module is compatible with the specific vehicle.
